Hello everyone, I have a wattshine 145W led light, ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0776MVZ8H/ref=twister_B077BQFFFP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 ) it has two 60w internal power supplies, I want to upgrade it with this:

https://www.amazon.com/RGBSIGHT-Pro...qid=1525013956&sr=1-6&keywords=led+controller

Thing is it only has one input, and I will probably need more than 60W to run my lights at the intensity needed, my question is it there is a way to conect both to the same input without damaging anything, in series? parallel? need some kind of "bridging" component? not doable?

Thank you all in advance.

I'm not sure where your 60W figure comes from. But it looks like that module supports 4 amps per channel, which should be lots... However, the operating voltage is only 24 v max, so you might have to do some funny math around the forward voltage of the diodes and figuring to get what you want out of it...

I would also like to point out that once you have your lights set, you should leave them (and never touch them again). I find the main issue people think LEDs don't work for corals is the flexibility they are granted, especially with the higher end fixtures. If you are constantly changing your settings, your corals simply can't adapt...

I opened the lamp and it has two 60w psu, one for the blues and one for all the other leds, its common for chinese leds to be underpowered in the PSU's to avoid heating issues with the leds.
