All of the acros are affected you just might not see it with the naked eye.
I believe there cycle is 7-10 days to hatch or something like that. Thats why 3 treatments are required. The treatment will not kill eggs so until they hatch you cant kill them .
Quarantine is great but you still need to do 3 treatments to kill them in dt or quarantine
Hey are they black bug or small black pods that are on sps are they moving quick when you flash them ?

There seems to be at least a couple of species of these 'black bugs'. Unfortunately, for me, Interceptor does not do anything to the species I have. I tried 2 large tablets at a time for 36 hours. This about 4 times the recommended dose for redbugs. Still have them. I have just started the 4 x Revive dips for 8 minutes. I have lost a couple SPS just with one dip. Hopefully, some of my colonies will live. These are the worst pests I have come across.

I'm dealing with these at the moment as well. I went a bit more extreme a bit more quickly after reading all the threads I could. I cut the bases off all my SPS in my tank and moved them to an inline frag tank. I will be trying to interceptor the frags in the Dr. G's dip that is basically liquid interceptor at a very high dose and see what happens. I dipped in 4x revive and it seemed to hurt them very badly and made them come off and out of the coral (the seem to bore into the coral and sometimes hide inside the coralite under the corals slime when you dip).. Im thinking the strong interceptor dip will work. I will experiment with the actual dosing of it today as its been one week exactly since I cut and did the first dip.

I notice them burrowing into the sps and trying to get away and attach deep into the acros but I believe that osmosis does it's justice and eventually "a wet towel to a room fill with smoke can only be withstand for so long" and they become disoriented and let go and will die. My recommendation is not less then 8 mins in 4xrevive as a result ... Do it at least 1x-2x a week for 6 weeks and I think you can completely eradicate them. It worked for me. Thanks for sharing!
