so im setting up a new tank for just a pair of designer clownfish. im lookign at picassos, snowflakes and possibly black ice. the only thing is iv read black ice are hybrid percula and false perc which iv read will make htem sterile is this true? can some one give me some insight on the diffrence between black ice and snowflake onyx

unlike makimg a mule, there are not issues with the number of genes in the gametes that produce sterile offspring. see: wiki.answers.com/Q/Are_donkeys_sterile

i have a pair of s'mores(black ice) and they are b&w ocellaris and snowflake ocellaris mixed. and there are many ocellaris/percula that spawn with no problems. faois has many diff types of designer clowns in all the time.

i guess i'm lucky, fisheye services is located near me. i got a pair about a 1.5yrs ago and they are cleaning hardcore. i wish they would lay already.

Check out Alpha corals. He has really nice clown fish. Really nice Picasso's and black ice clowns

do they have a website?
do u have the phone number / address?

I tried to get one from fisheye but they never had any available. I got one from Kris at alpha corals and couldn't be happier. It's a great looking fish and it wasn't a tiny little guy either. It doesn't hurt that Kris is great to deal with and the prices are right too. Good luck with the search.
