Black ice vs. Snowflake clownfish

hi guys! Im new to the forum and it's my first post ever:) Can anyone tell me if my clown in the attachment is black ice or snowflake?

I think it's whatever you want it to be, lol. I believe all the naming is made up by sellers/breeders just trying to make their product standout from competition. One company may call it a snowflake clown and another a black ice clown. They both look very similar to me.

Black Ice come from a Snowflake parent, so it’s hard to really tell. If I had to guess, I would say Black Ice because of tail fin has a thicker black band

Here is a quick snap of my black ice clown. I think they go white and black. She is a mean little fish.

Interesting, I think they have different colors, some r black but some r orange. Thx!

Blackice clowns do not have a particular pattern of design. It’s a combo of designer parents. I usually call blackice snows when they look premium.

Wouldnt the black ice have abit of blue shine? I would think that would be the decider, if it has a blue tint, its a black ice, if not its a snowflake
