Black "Snail" on Zoa

Any idea what this black "snail" is in the middle of the zoa? It doesn't move, but I haven't noticed it before. Vermetid? It, along with the zoa is actually attached to a small piece of rock rubble.

Yep looks like a vermatid and being in the middle of zoa I would just superglue it opening shut, just be careful not to get glue on the zoa tissue.

Thanks all, whatever it was, I removed it.

I removed the rock island and used a dental explorer to remove the pest. It shattered into pieces as I picked at it.

I should have taken more pictures of it
