I want to add one of these. The only place I ever see these available is on Divers Den, I'm wondering why that is? Any idea?

It's just a matter of who Quality Marine sells them to. They may have an agreement on this particular variant; not sure.

I spoke to Quality Marine, the said they make no distinction between the black fin and the regular Mccoskers

you could try this marinecollectors place, they seem to take requests. you'll probably pay quite the premium, though. maybe ask pacificislandaquatics too

Oh they show up, you just have to be faster. Basically treat it like a black friday sale, and be online and very ready at 5PM central time.

I know they do, and Ill be ready to hit the buzzer in a few weeks.

It's just strange that the only source for the blackfin variety is Divers Den and that Quality Marine seemed to have no idea this variety existed

I think other sites have them but just don't bother differentiating them from the regular McCosker's.

I have a blackfin, and I have seen McCoskers at my lfs, imo there really isn't a huge color difference. The black fin is just a hair darker.
