So, I have had a blasto wellso frag for like 10 months now. Bought it as 2 polyps frag and now, still 2 polyps.... How do I get it to grow?

I've tried spot feeding with little mysis/brine/bbs. Also fed it big chunks of shrimps as well. Fed pellets and flakes as well. it'll eat anything it can grab... but still doesnt grow...

Mine is a slow grower as well, bought it 8 months ago with one head, now it is 4. I occasionally spot feed but not on a regular basis.

I've had some for 6yrs now and they are one of the slowest growing corals for me. They grow similar to favia in my tank. My sps, chalice, and anything else grow faster than these guys. But that just makes me appreciate them more.

I have a lot of blasto morphs and mine seem to do the same. I dont know what it is with the branching or encrusting blastos but growth is quite varied for both. I have a few branching wellsi. A few frags started out as 2 heads about 7 months ago and are still at 2 heads, but another 2 head frag I bought started to pop out new heads within 2 weeks after buying it and now has 6-7 heads. I have a lot more of the encrusting variety and even they have the same growth pattern. Some stay the same while another frag grew about 7-8 new heads in 6 months. All I know is that I wish they grew like my merlettis! Those grow like crazy in comparison.

I wish I could figure it out!!
