I would say no on the lighting, but, what is your par readings? What is your N03 and P04? How is the flow of your tank? To me, it looks like it is reacting to the flow.

I also have blastos.

I know this is an old thread, but a similar thing is happening to mine (OP photo of it fanning towards light).

My understanding was they like low light, should I move it up? Definitely not a flow issue.

I currently have mine on the sand bed. It is in direct light though, maybe I should put it out of the direct light?
