This is my first blasto and I've had it for about a month. It has nearly doubled in size since I've had it. Is this normal? Is it looking for more light?

they will grow, you'll see little babies around the trunk of the mother polyp. If you look at night with a flash light when the polyp is retracted you can sometimes see. I've had some that just sit there and don't get any new heads for a year and some that just start throwing heads immediately. I try and feed my LPS like once a week with chopped up Mysis shrimp. Many reefers think that will spur growth, although don't overdo it and pollute your water.

Beautiful! Yes it will grow new babies but they will be tucked up underneath and will grow to the size of the adult.
