Blasto Vivida bounce morph

So I aquired this Blasto Vivida a few months back, and ever since I switched out from my AI primes to an Ocean Revive T247 unit, my blasto has been growing these crazy bubbles around the disk! Here's some before pics:

Has anyone else seen this happen to a blasto before? Is this a normal occurance for the vivida strain of blasto? I came across this article a few weeks back and it seemed to happen to another blasto when it was stung. Maybe it's a defense mechanism to appear larger?

My red blastos always look like that. Nothing around them to bother them. They're ways swollen and happy and have about 20 heads. But they look like a bounce mushroom.

Where did you find that blasto??? That thing looks wonderful. The before and after shot too. Impressive!
