blastomussa healing from tear

One of my orange and green blastomussa wellsi, has a tear in the center, dont know how it happen, but its there....anyone know if this will heal back and supposedly how long it should take before it closes??

It will heal back assuming it's in appropriate conditions (low flow/light)... depending how bad the tear is will determine recovery time.

Any idea how it happened?

I've seen this with many "softer LPS" after feeding meaty foods and a shrimp rips them open for the food...
