I figured there was no way you’d be able to grow an acro that big and never experience rtn. I wasn’t buying it, lol. On the plus side, you probably have a lot of people thinking whether or not that whole thing would fit in their calcium reactor, especially with the Reborn shortage.Ok was just trying to bring some humor in these times but you guys missed it completely, thanks for the truth though. That's been outta the water for 30+ years, bought it at the swap meet 30 years ago, it's arms are a foot long and probably 4 inches around. Just saw it in my backyard and the thought came to me. Although obviously the smooth side must have been facing down, just like in our tanks the shaded side on some acros is smooth with no polyps. That must have been one giant acropora colony it came off of. Any ideas what type?
It was a joke. It’s been dead for over 30 yearsTaking it out of the water sure didn’t help. There’s always a chance of recovery but this one seems far gone.
Is salinity high or alk jump?
