Hi everyone

Apologies for the newbie question but i was wondering if the white dots on my acro are a sign of bleaching?

There appears to be polyp extension which is good. Does that particular area get enough light. As my acros grow the underside discolor due to lack of light exposure. Do you have any issues with other acros?

My worry was that I might have put it too high on my aquascape too quickly and that it is getting too much light.

I’m fairly new to keeping acros but my other acro’s seem to be ok, polyps are extended on my millies and tenuis.

Bleaching typically takes on a more uniform color, not so much like those pale splotches. Some chance that those are bite marks from AEFW. Did you dip that frag and if so in what solution?

Ill inspect for AEFW, but i dont think it’s likely. I got the acro from a farm specialized in acro’s with very strict quarantine protocals. But everything is possible. I’ve only done an iodine based dip.
