Blennie

[Jennifier615]

Does anybody have any experience with barnacle blennie? I got a really cool set of baracles I cemented together and I was wondering will all blennie hide out in this structure? I think the baracle blennies look cool, but don't ever really see any in the lfs. Any ideas?

For those of you reefers about to "rock"- we salute you ;)

I know a guy who has one and has a dead coco worm tube in his tank. Thats he's Blennies hiding spot. He looks funny when he pops his head out and looks around.

I've got a bicolor blenny that hides in holes in the rocks. So it's possible another type of blenny would take to a barnacle for a home. The lawnmower blenny hides too but not in a hole. I think just because he's too big.

These are pretty cool little fish.....lighting fast when you feed...they charge the water column to quickly dart back into their hiding places.....They do get shipped kinda small, but they were very healthy and I was excited of that fact....I can't wait till they grow up alittle bit more!! I like their crazy go eyes where they go whichever way independent of each other.....reminds me of steve buschemi in that one adam sandler movie.

For personality it seems like blennies can't be beat. They're the comedy relief of the tank!
