Blocking the glare from the Aquatic Life T5's...

Anyone come up with a solution to block the glare from the T5's in an Aquatic Life Hybrid Fixture? It is blinding while sitting down and looking at the tank.
 
Do you mean light spill? Have you considered a canopy?
 
Yeah so I would probably get black acrylic sheets and mount them to the sides and angle them inward that’ll reduce the light spill
 
Idk how you’d mount them but if I would use something like a locking hinge form the hardware store and screw one side in the acrylic and the other can be mounted to the t5 fixture and boom DIY light spill shade
