Hikari package says these are for freshwater only. Are These considered safe as an occasional food for our saltwater buddies? A couple of You tube posts indicate that they can contain bacteria. I just wanna make sure before I offer them.

Is it the Hakari bio-pure line? If so then yes it’s okay as an occasional mix up. That line specifically is sterilized from bacteria and pests. Hakari is the brand I go to for that reason.
