Just picked up this pair at Reef a Palooza today and wanted to share. Any experiences with these guys?

as much as i know they are deep water fish and come up to spawn or lay eggs? not sure. How do you know they are a pair? Can you tell the difference between a male and a female?

QT the crap out of them. they eat right off the bat but if you don't QT they almost always break out in crypt IME. Not saying thats what happens for everyone but it has happened to me and a buddy both identical experiences

I bought a pair from DD. One only made it a few months but ive had the other for a couple years. I dont know how DD gets them as pairs but mine did not do well together. The one that is still living was the aggressor.

These guys eating pellets already. The guy that sold them to me has had them for a month. They seem to be good together. No aggression as of yet. Hoping they do ok!!!
