Hello guys

I just finished a 30 day copper treatment period at 2.0ppm. After the treatment was done my Majestic Angel developed fin rot which I successfully treated with a dose of Kanaplex. Now it seems to have some blotchy discoloration?? I have been doing weekly water changes after the Kanaplex and just started Prazipro yesterday. It is still eating and behaving normally, active and alert. Anyone know what this is? I am afraid of dosing too many meds. Let me know if you guys cant see the pictures.

Just to make sure - it's the only fish - because to me the fins look a bit frayed compared to normal. The mottling can be stress coloration (though the pictures are distant - doesn't look like that).

But I do have a question you gave it a dose of kanaplex and it improved?
Because I think this could be a bacterial issue

Angel seems to have velvet but to confirm, please posts pics under white light intensity
Is fish eating and breathing normal?
Any other unusual signs?

No this is a QT tank with two other fish but the Angel is the only one with this problem. The fins look bad in this pic but in real life they have been completely healed w the Kanaplex.

Velvet in salt water can present just with breathing difficulty and short death. Yours seems somewhat different. Can you send a picture of today? I'm going to vote on a bacterial infection - since the kanaplex helped. Did you do other QT - with copper/prazipro? (I see you did a low dose copper - but any prazipro)?

The Kanaplex healed the fin rot in 3 days but the blotching and discoloration got worse. Yes I started Prazipro yesterday after a 30 % water change. I'll try to plug in a light to get pics today, this is a QT tank

Here are some more pics. It does not look like velvet to me. All the other fish in the tank are fine. I do think it may be bacterial but why is the Kanaplex no longer working?

Fish is very distant in the pics and could use closer. Has the effect of black ich but still cannot see fish clear enough.
Can you post a 25 second you tube video?

I think flukes could be a possibility. With only one recent dose of prazi, the skin wouldn’t have had time to heal.

I don't know why kanaplex worked before and not now. It could be 2 different things. I would consider treating with a full course of kanaplex - and though I don't usually like to recommend using 2 medications at the same time - I think prazipro should be completed per the protocol. As @vetteguy53081 mentioned closer pictures/video would help.
