I recently (about 3 weeks ago) bought a blue cepistularia. It was doing well, so I just left it in the sand and wasn't paying too much attention to it, while thinking of a longer term placement strategy.
Anyways, each night it got poked a bit and moved around by snails. Today I notice that it is just attached to the substrate rock by a very thin thread. It still looks pretty healthy, but I am afraid it may try and completely detach, go free floating, and land in a bad spot (on top of another coral, or in a powerhead/overflow).
Is there a good way to get it to reattach? Can I use the Gorilla Gel Glue that I have on hand directly on the coral? Should I use a rubber band to very loosely secure it? Right now, I have it loosely surrounded by larger pieces of rubble in hopes it will attach to something.
