I purchased a blue diamond goby a while back and I introduced to to the tank, and it disappeared for about month. So thinking that it had passed away, I purchased a yellow diamond goby a month later. Well after I introduced the yellow goby into the tank, the blue goby decided to reappear. Coincidentally, they decided to take up residence at opposite end of the tank. I would watch them meet in the middle and territorial displays and then go back to their rock.
Well in the last couple of months things have changed. One morning I woke up and they were both on the same side of the tank. Then I noticed that they were best friends and sharing the same burrow. Now what's really strange is, my blue diamond (and it was blue, a pretty blue) is morphing into a yellow diamond goby by turning yellow. Now the part I can't figure out is, I think the once blue now yellow is pregnant.
Has this happened to anyone else before or seen this before. In the pic, the one on top is my yellow and the one at the bottom was once my blue.
