Just bought one, does anyone have any experience with this type of fish? Thanks for any information. He is hiding out most of the time and is a dusky brown instead of yellow. I got him Thursday and have not seen him eat. The seller tells me this is normal because he is stressed by the shipment.

Love my gold midas blenny. He's a character to watch. The brown you see is normal when they get stressed a bit. Mine did the same thing when I got him. He should be fine in a few days.

They are not picky eaters at all. They also look their best with open water swimmers such as anthias. In the wild they mimic and socialize with squamipinnis anthias.

Thanks guys mine has colored up and like to swim in the current of one of my power heads. He is also eating. Now if I can get the clown gobie I got with him to eat if would be perfect. My Blennie is almost 4 inches is that about as big as they get?"
