In my area I have noticed a lot of people running more blue leds, like 85% blue to about 10% white. Or just run blue leds on there tank. Anyone else see this

Based on my DIY LED builds, blue at this level is purely for looks, supplementation with 10K T5's would e necessary to obtain a satisfactory light spectrum for optimum coral health and growth.

A good balance of 10K, 6.5K, RB, green, UV, pink or red is necessary to obtain best results.....plenty of experimentation is still to be done, however purely blue dominant is not ideal....this of course depends on corals kept, soft may be OK, but SPS/ LPS would not do well IME.
