I treat my tank with this Blue Life Phosphate Control yesterday doing just half douse and today I found my yellow tang dead.
any one had this situation before?

That uses lanthanum chloride which is potent stuff. If you are using half the dose on the direction, it just seems odd that it would kill the tang. I'm not sure if it affects oxygen levels. I have used the swimming pool stuff that has a high concentration of the LC it never had any adverse reaction with my fish.
 
thank paul all my other fish and corals are fine just the yellow tang was affected it suck.
