Recently picked up a blue linkia for my tank which I've always wanted. Acclimated him for over an hour then places him in the tank on a rock which he shortly hid under.

The next morning, he was on the back wall underneath the overflow and that night, no sign if him. A couple days ago, I found him in my sand sifters hiding spot under another rock where he has been since. I'm able to see a couple of his tentacles which don't seem deflated. Is he just hiding until he gets used to the new tank? For anybody who has a starfish, how long until yours stopped being so shy??

Linckias shouldn't be shy. Usually they cruise around doing their own thing.
