My profile says Los Angeles. I’m willing to travel around an hour. You’re in SD county, so pretty far.
Thanks, I didn’t look at your profile, I have done that in the past but often times it is not filled in.

Aqua San Diego has a few listed on line,
But I would not recommend the drive just for a clam.

Seaside Tropical Fish in Huntington Beach has some 5” clams, $169?ea.

I am not aware of other LA stores that have them, I have not been traveling much recently. Certainly there must be other folks on here who will chime in with more local information.

I know you said you wanted to avoid shipping costs but Biota has some good small ones that are aqua-cultured! They also sell food they feed the clams there too. I got one from them. Not a maxima but its still pretty! Just in case you cant find local, I know where Im from clams in the store are wayyyy more expensive than getting online! This is my clam from them. Its a baby too

I was just at seaside tropical fish the other day and their maxima clams were looking really nice! I’m not sure if that’s great pricing for clams but most of them did seem pretty large
