Blue Nephthea

I bought a rather expensive blue nephthea yesterday. Upon delivery, the seller claims everyone else he knows who has this piece couldn't keep it alive.

I assumed it would keep as well as green neptheas, which I have growing nicely. But, maybe not!?

Any suggestions?

Needs time to aclimste, need to figure out lighting intensity, strong flow. Some feeding. I have a litophyton, similar issues. Yours sound like beautiful specimen.

Best suggestion I can give is...show us a photo of that beauty!!!

Not much to see yet, it didn't open today. The green one from the same guy did (I already had a green, but it was a batch deal with some other neat mushrooms).

It is about an inch or so long. I'm tempted to cut the top off and put it into another tank, just in case. But I think I'll wait a week and see how it fares. It is in medium-high flow, low-mid lighting. Hopefully my next post is with good news!

When it opens and has aclimated, I'd cut the top off.
