Blue painters tape

I used a small piece of painters tape to mark an acrylic rod…it wasn’t until after I finished the aquascape that I realized I never removed it. Should I take it apart and remove the tape or should it be fine? It’s about a 1” piece

My uneducated shoot-from-the-hip answer: I can't see it 'poisoning' the tank. My concern would be if (in time) it gradually degrades and breaks apart into tiny bit size pieces that fish ingest and try to digest. (Can fish or inverts pick it apart where it is now?)
