Today I noticed that my six line wrasse has a decently large blue spot on one side.
The fish is acting normal and I don’t see anything that would make me think it’s something to be concerned with but I want to make sure that I treat accordingly if needed.
Looks like it may be an injury and what we are seeing is the underlying color of flesh. Is it smooth, rough, or like a bite? Any aggression in the tank?
Clowns are part of the Damsel family. They can be real mean. Heck we have plenty of members who comment how they have to be careful when putting their hands in their tanks as the clowns will bite them. One had a clown that bit him on the eyeball as he was leaning over the tank doing maintenance. Yikes!
