Blue spot sea hare

I want to know if anyone has any experience with sea hares? I guess the two that I got mated which is cool and all but I'm concerned about the survival rate of the adults. Is it common for all sea hares to die after they lay eggs or just certain types?

I tried them a few times and I only saw them in tank for a few days then either die or disappear.
Just my experience maybe someone else had better luck.
Note: I had dino in tank that are toxic to inverts if consumed.
