Blue spotted jawfish - lips are white

Hi, i noticed my blue spot jawfidh had a bit of white on its lips. The fish eats very well and the temp is kept at 72. What do you think it is? I can’t get a perfect picture since it is hiding all the time. He’s been in the dt for about 2 days.

(also, leave your bsj alone, they’re skittish fish and constantly taking pictures of it is not helping it settle in)

For a fish that pecks through sand all day and food source off rocks, not surprised. I do not see evidence of infection or sore- Keep an eye on it but not an abnormal circumstance.

I also have noticed the white part shrinking over the last few days.
