I have a Blue Sympodium, it opened up the same day I purchased, was doing excellent for about three weeks. I did my monthly 5 gal H2O change on my 90 gal. It has not came out fully since. It has been about 8 weeks. I have put in high flow, low flow. Low light, high light and shimmer. I've done three 10 gal water changes in the past 3 weeks. I thought my test kits were old so I bought new Red Sea test kits. In the course of six weeks H2O was 1.025 salinity, pH - 8.4, dKH 8-10, Ca - 380 -420 ppm, Mg - 1480-1700, NO3 - less than 0.25 ppm, PO4 - less than 0.01 ppm. The nitrate and phosphate test kits are hard to read when values are low. I would say that they are 0 but I don't think that is possible. Current values are Salinity - 1.025, pH - 8.4, NO3 - less than 0.25 ppm, PO4 - less than 0.01 ppm, Ca - 420 ppm, Mg - 1560 ppm, dKH 9.2, temp. 77.6. My Kessil A360WE are max of 70 % on intensity for 3 Hours, color is approx. 13 ,000 K. 12 hr day starts at 19K - 13K - 19K, intensity 5% - 70% - 5%. Everything else is thriving. HELP! I haven't bought any new corals since this has been going on.

Bump for help :)

It took my buddy at least 4 months for his Blue Sympodium to finally be happy. He tried low flow, low light, med flow ,med light..
He ended up sticking it right dab center in his aquarium with high flow and high light under T5 and a Kessil 360.
Looks great now.

I actually moved mine to full flow, full exposure location Sunday morning, cause I need that spot for some new SPS frags. When I returned from LFS with new frags, polyps were slightly extended, not all just a few. Maybe that's the answer. Will continue to watch. Thanks.o_O
