I have just recently set up a new tank a month ago. I have a small blue tang that had a hole in original rock structure in old tank. I transferred that big structure to new tank and actually the tang was hiding in her hole and made the transfer in the hole. Now it has outgrown that hole and is trying to settle in on other side of tank and has been scraping against a sharp edge on rock doing it contantly and now this morning I’ve noticed a kind of dull white scratch on side below dorsal fin. I think it is stressed from losing the ability to get in original hole. Hoping it is not some parasite or disease any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Not sure about Blue Tang but my Sailfin is always being the bull in the china shop and scrapping herself on rocks chasing after floating bits of Nori that she rips off the clip and then chases down. She has plenty of space she's just kinda dense sometimes. The scrapes always disappear in a day or two
