Hi all, I got a baby blue tang delivered yesterday. It is very small, about 2cm. It seemed OK last night, after the stress of shipping, it was swimming all over the tank. After the lights went out it disappeared, I thought it was hiding somewhere to sleep. This morning I can't find it anywhere

Hi, the tank is 150 gallons with quite some live rocks and caves/hiding places. But no sign of it. Shouldn't there be a body at least? It seemed fine last night, swimming, although it came very stressed from shipping and the bullying from the other fish was normal new comer bullying, not bad

As others have said they like to wedge themselves into the rocks. If he was already stressed and then got the obligatory new fish bullying it may stay wherever it's hiding for a few days. Give it some time, the last thing you want to do is go moving the rocks looking for it. That will just stress it out more. Good luck!

Glad you found it. Tiny hippos are tough though .... not a high survival rate unfortunately.
