Blue Tang Nutrition

I have a very small Blue Tang, no longer than 1.5 inch. He eats mysis, prime reef flake, and Spectrum Pellets very readily, but does not eat any sheet algae I clip for him. However, I tried feeding him some small strings of chaeto and he seems to love it. Is feeding cheato daily sufficient to meet the herbivorous nutrition of tangs?
