but wouldn't velvet affect my clowns too?Looks like velvet but I'm far from an expert #reefsquad @Jay Hemdal
Clowns wouldn't be as stressed as a tang in a small tank. Immune systems are greatly affected by stress and environment. Like i said though. I'm not an expert of any sort when it comes to these things.but wouldn't velvet affect my clowns too?
I think it's HLLE based on the symptoms. I don't think its violet. and i don't have a hospital tank! what do i do?It would either be velvet of HLLE from the looks of things. Do you have a hospital tank set up? Either way treatment will be necessary

Are you running carbon?
Fishes diet?
Water params?
I see these questions come up in threads asking about HLLE. This can help someone with experience help you quicker. I am no expert either just bumping for you.
If this is HLLE (not an expert), you may want to remove the carbon, and add to the fishes diet. Put some Nori in the tank for the tang, and you can start soaking the food in vitamins to help.I am running carbon in filter

Water parameters are all good
