I think reef crystals has a bit to much calcium.. anyways from what it looks one head is dead the other is fight for its life… light par has been 182-200… what could it be

Can you take a better picture in brighter light? Also, what exactly are your parameters?

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t like that 12 pob nitrite. That will kill your fish and coral. We want that to be 0. Is the tank fairly new? I would do some water changes to get that down.

🥹 I’m actually getting ready to do a 10% water change and yes the tank is to 2 months old it’s an upgrade from my 20g Aio tank.. I passed over the live rocks and media.. new sand was used.. in hopes that cycling the new tank would be faster.. but it looks like my torches are paying the price for that other coral are fine.. there was one that even came back from almost being 100% bleached 🥹 I just hooked a co2 scrubber to help with PH

How are things looking? I recently did a tank upgrade also, there can be some casualties sometimes when that happens. Did you happen to add any bacteria to help jumpstart the cycle? I used new sand but used the old rock and as much water and I could, but also add a bottle of Dr. Times to get that cycle jumpstarted. If you are still seeing high numbers try adding that also.

was the flesh band looking healthy when you got it? That ph at 7.5 seems quite low but i dont know how accurate that might be but i dont think it would do the kill in such a short timeframe
