Blue tort ?

Was given this a while back at a swap met and they didnt know what it was . It's very blue with green polyps.

Hard to tell but I'd guess something like a bonsai type acro.

My first guess would be a Cali Tort. Could also be Miyagi Tort, but my Miyagi is more purple and my Cali is blue.

I agree with @Justfebreezeit that it's likely a Garf Bonsai. I thought I read that it was blue and green, but I now see that you said it's all blue with green polyps. o_O

Neither A. Tortuosa nor A. Austera have polyps that look like that - those are the two that are called "torts" most commonly in the hobby. Would need a more clear and less blue photo to identify it better.

Some sort of Bonsai is pretty close, but it is not OG GARF Bonsai, IFAICT.

I see some Tort in that piece. Whatever it is it really needs to grow more for a better chance of getting the correct ID.

Agreed on grow out, its has some tort characteristics, but I'd guess gomezi before tortuosa for how rounded/puffy the radials look.

However, I have yet to see an Incipient axial development or a top down axial corallite shot.

Part of me wants to see an axial corallite before I even want to say I'm 100% sure it's even acropora, lol
