I got mine from LA and he arrived in perfect condition. Wish he would eat a little algae beside the coraline. Mine never gets on the glass, just the rock and the overflow.

Well they are good for that and every other algae....just know that it may accidentally bulldoze corals that may not affixed to your rock when searching for food....

yeah I've heard so when I moved my tank last weekend I glued everything down

Wow...how did you get a picture of one so "clean"? :) I got mine for a LFS. The owner had it in his frag tank and my little guy had tons of zoas attached to himself. He still has all the zoas attached and they are doing great...like a little moving zoa display ;)

I think he was referring to it being almost impossible to see one of these urchins without a bunch of shells, frags, etc attached to them.:)

Razor blade is a lot better for that. If you want the coralline off the rocks than the urchin is the way to go.

Hoping the urchin does this for you is ambitious. At best, it will hit some areas randomly. You'll need to do this yourself; it's part of tank husbandry. :)

I was looking forward to having one to keep my coralline In check. I will try to get another one.

they will def do that i have a blue tuxedo and he keeps all of any type of algae in check in my tank. good luck man.
