Blue waste in protein skimmer

Has anyone ever produced blue waste in their protein skimmer?

It is in the bottom of the skimmer cup. It is very blue. It didn't have a smell to it either.

Pretty sure the octopus hitch hiker in that live rock just inked your tank.

Are you using Waste Away from Dr Tims?
I do not have any additives at this time. I did a 4 day blackout do to an extreme green hair algae breakout. I have done a couple of water changes in a row and added some copepods.

Hmm, could be some green cyano, some strains of it have a blueish/ teal tint to them.

Any new equipment added to the system/sump?

pvc glue? redo any plumbing recently?
