Its much better then my 250w. it gives the corals more of a color, and my old 250w fixture did not have that much par compared to this. its about 12 inches above the water line with more par everywhere in my tank

Heres a FTS as of 1/31/13, i just learned about White Balance on my camera...

i just tried out a new lens, turns out i did not like it, 75mm-300mm, it was more for outdoors then fishtank...

So i purchased one of these rocks from Ceram Eco the price was at 26 bucks, i bought the 2 day shipping which was more then the rock itself, everything came out to be 60 dollars. i believe this should be a nice add..

i just read the Faqs and it says just rinse and add to display, sounds like this is the way to go!

My tank has been going downhill the past week, Everything seems to be in check, slowly having STN in some areas one after another. only thing i can pinpoint is to the GFO as i just replaced it. Heres a FTS as of yesterday..

Sorry to hear about your stn probs. Just read the whole thread. To answer your question about the higher par in the corners its probably from the glass reflecting light back into the tank so tjose areas are getting more light.

Stn has stopped and everything is recovering quite faster then i thought it would. 2 chromis is in qting atm waiting to be put in the display.

March Update,


Corals are doing fairly well, I stopped dosing FWE , changed my Bulb combo to B+,B+,P+,C+,B+,B+.. added Auto Feeder.


I havent touched the tank for 5 days already and everything seems good, i havent done a waterchanged for 2 weeks, tonight will be a 5g waterchange.

A bit of an update: after Qting my firefish and Randalls Gobie I added them to the display, after 5 minutes of swimming around my Pistol shrimp(candycane) finally appear out of his burrel, immediately he started swimming around everywhere frightened i believe he was trying to get the gobies attention. well, good thing i was there to turn off the pumps or my fishes would be eating shrimp for dinner! and thats about all i did today! happy reefing!

Well heres my April Update, After finding out i had Black Bugs it really bugged me, after going from one acro to another i decided to take matters into my own hands, i bought some Interceptor Spectrum, Dosed it and after the first treatment i saw great improvement, after dosing the second treatment i did not see any. im contemplating for doing the 3rd treatment. Everything is well, and i got back on my schedule of dosing ZEO products. Ill let the pictures do the work.
