Haha, don't worry, you're not just seeing things. The hammer on the left and red monti on the right are growing right at the water surface and in one of the shots I had the return pump off so the water level came down about ~2cm, which exposed a bit of the monti.

The hammer just seems to grow normally and pretty much forms a ball with the top part just hitting the surface, the monti on the other hand, just tables out on the surface if you get what I mean.

Cheers mate! You guys get all the good( and cheaper) livestock over there though so I might move my tank over..haha!
