Hi have a CaRX using a CO2 scrubber but ph hovers around 7.8-8

To push it a little higher I thought about drilling skimmer cup and pushing effluent outlet directly into skimmer

Anybody do this currently

Thoughts

Thanks in advance

Wait, I'm confused. You are running a Co2 scrubber on your CaRx? How and why?

Scrubber is plumbed into skimmer not CaRX
Roger. Just have the Co2 scrubber recirculating air in the skimmer. Easy mod, just make sure that you seal up any other holes in the skimmer cup. This may or may not, likely not, have any appreciable affect on pH, it will, however, extend the life of the Co2 scrubber media.

As far as running your CaRx effluent into the skimmer, it may help and likely won't hurt.
