Finally starting the rebuild after a redsea seam failure. Custom 72"x30"x25" ext overflow tank stand and canopy from glasscages. Goal of this tank is to use same space as the old reefer tank and control stand but keep all wires / equipment in stand. Fully automated tank so this is a bit of a challenge. Work requires travel.for 28 days away from tank so most items must be able to run for 30days maintenance free (filters, dosing solutions, base level food).
(Editing main post with significant updates)

All equipment on hand.
Finally recieved tank shipment. Dog fish for scale.

Set back #1. Shipping damage on sump. Nobody likes shipping damage or order issues but pleasantly surprise with how pro-active Joe was about getting everything corrected. Accidently sent email midway through writings and was receiving phone calls about 3 minutes later. True signs of a good company is how they handle issues.

Base rockwork moved and cemented to flat shelfrock pieces for stability planning on adding 10% more live rock after fill up. Ontop of "eggcrate" cause i like being redundant. Put a layer of reclaimed sand from the initial redsea and then realised the bottom half of buckets where damp and had anerobic activity. Ohwell atleast i covered the egg crate.

Due to impatience I decided not having a sump isn't a valid reason to delay starting a cycle. Installed lights and canopy and partial fill and slap a heater skimmer and pumps in the display. It ain't pretty but it also let's me start reviewing the Neptune programs.

Woo got the sump and lots of work setting everything up xand forgetting to update thread. Miniscule wolf assisting with inspection. Tank itself is firmly in the ugly stages as I started the cycle/maturing phase while waiting for sump (and controller drawer). First time starting a tank with nearly all dry rock (some seed rock rubble from tampabay). Still a lot of work left but really enjoying having space under cabinet for everything.
