Hello! I have just set up my new reef. All rock, sand and filtration has been added. I am looking at getting some bottled bacteria products to help with the cycle! Can anyone recommend me one (that’s available in the UK please). Also would adding fish waste from an established tank help to boost my cycle along abit? I know it does in freshwater but does that work for salt? Thanks - Noah

The best is Fritz TurboStart 900. Not just my opinion; the major brands have been tested, with the results posted right here, and it was no contest. TurboStart 900 comes refrigerated and needs to be kept refrigerated. Also I don't know if it's available in the UK (probably not?)

I agree on fritz turbo start 900 i cycled a nano with it great stuff kinda expensive tho. I used 1/4 to 1/2 of what I had then setting up my larger tank took way longer then planed 1/2 the bottled expired :(
so I just picked up some brightwell start XLM.

as said above there is a great thread where there tested. I believe it's by Dr.reef?
they all work some better and faster then others tho.

oh BTW if your using the API ammonia test kit it does not read below .25
