I got this frag a couple of months ago and it took a while to start doing something and at first I was positive this was not a WD frag and not sure why it would be called that, ("might be WD") I got it for 22$+shipping . Now some color is starting to come thru im wondering if it is a w.d and maybe the fragger lost track of it, the reason for the name maybe, or is it just very similar?

Please let me know what you think, thank you

WD should have Yellow Polyps, they look green in the pictures, but maybe it's the lighting/picture. Looks like a fantastic piece though.

This is my WD (Not convinced it actually is), has changed color a lot, was all green and now a pale blue that does go more vibrant blue/purple under LED only. Polyps are yellow though.

Awesome piece thanks for your imput!

Mine is starting to push yellow polyps just at the tips but those polyps haven't came out yet. its much different in person I guess, but it wasn't happy when I first placed it, only just recently started to look good so the colors popping are new too, but right now your right most of the polyps look a shade of green, it had 2 barnacles in it but I think only one now.

Sorry this is a galaxy s9pro phone, my flip phones camera is slightly worse....

I would lean towards it not being a wd but it may just be colored down as tenuis get sometimes, either way a beautiful piece

@ thatmanMIKEson

I'm not sure if that's a WD or not, but it's starting to show potential. Sometimes I buy no name frags for the surprise ending ( in my experience ... given tons of TLC all SPS, but mostly TENUIS will show great colors )
I buy into the "name game " because to me it's just a "game"

Buy what you like, give a no name doo doo brown frag a try.
( give it a ton of care and keep your tank stable )

You'd be surprised how it turns out.

Tenuis or maybe a strawberry shortcake acropora.

2nd pic is my WD almost directly under an Ai prime 16hd up high on my scape

Looks like Tenuis to me but I’m not an expert.
