Hello all, I’ve had my tank for about 6 months, and I’m slowly moving on to the more expensive corals. I’ve seen plently of bounce mushrooms (especially the wwc og’s). Anyways, maybe in the next few weeks I was looking to get one. I was wondering what tips you have? Such as: placement, par, will it take small bits of rods food, flow, ect. Thanks!

Also I do have a Valentini Puffer in my tank, so I was if you had any suggestions on like a mini frag rack that protect corals from being potentially attacked by fish

They are resilient as long as nutrients are zero. Dont blast them with flow either start them lower in the tank.

Just like normal mushrooms, I suspect the puffer will nibble at it.

It's a mushroom. It's about as easy of a coral as you can get. Low nutrient high nutrient in my experiences they don't care. I wouldn't cook it with light intensity or blast it with flow. They make acrylic mushroom boxes that will protect it from your puffer.
