It looks like I received a branching type GSP from a local reefer. I was thinking of making a GSP wall on the back of my AIO 30 gallon. Would the encrusting type of GSP do better at covering the back wall than the branching?

I'm still happy to have gotten the branching GSP, I could put it on a rock. Just not sure it's the type that would cover the back wall. All the GSP wall type videos I've seen have GSP that grows as a sheet. Do branching GSP "attach" to rock like the encrusting type?

Branching will take over your system. I would do encrusting since branching will require alot of trimming to keep it close to the wall if it is this type.

That's awesome. I don't know what causes the difference. Does yours encrust over rock? Not sure how to do the initial tie down to a rock.

Yes, but it's a very loose hold on the glass/plastic. All of it is encrusting. Except for the "daisy" variants. I tried this and it actually collapsed. If your determined start it at the bottom, cause it will grow towards the light for the most part. It really only branched out once it couldn't grow up or left or right. And be ready for this...
