Been looking at zoas for Andrew's pico. Some of these prices are so far out of reach! I want to give him lots of color, but dang!

Saw some grand master kraks at the LFS the other week. Over rated and likely over saturated online. Didn't look like a $1500 per polyp zoa to me. Maybe $50. They're pretty, but I have some just as pretty that cost WAY less.

Every time i see a place pushing single polyps of anything for 1 or 2K or captive bred fish for 10/15/20K I more or less add them to my “Dont Bother” list and rarely/if ever go back to see what they have. Sadly my list is long

If it's a 4 bulb regular T5 he should be fine with quite a few softies.

It was a 2 bulb unit.

Yea, so these are the infamous Grand Master Krakatoa zoas that are $1500 per polyp...

These are MY nirvana zoas in MY tank, that I got a frag of 5 polyps for $25.

Here they are with short skirts...

And here are Rose Nebula zoas, that can also be had for $25 for a multi polyp frag. I dont have a pic of mine , but they have doubled to two 5+ polyp frags now in a few months.

There are MANY inexpensive options out there and nobody can justify the exorbitant prices.

Need to clean some stuff up and frag others so I can start up my grow out so I can sell them. Stores around here are getting greedy and I think I have a market for underpriced corals.

In other words, its pro gratis. Maybe cover shipping or something.

I believe these are armor of god. When they grow out I'll send you some. Dont mind the cyno its almost gone now. Look white under 10k but blue a pink center. These were 25$. There are pretty and unique with out selling your soul

My lfs's carry those expesive pp zoas, but one of them has a whole section of no-name mini colonies for $10 to $15. I dont understand the pricing on zoas and mushrooms. Some of the plain looking ones are the most expensive.
