We often judge ourselves too harshly. Some people just downright put themselves down in the name of being humble. Living in a negative narative serves no good purpose. These sorts of things are disturbing and have nothing good that comes from them. Only we know what we do but I can tell you this much; I'm a great step-dad. I do not feel I am being a braggard. I say this based on input from Kyla, Katherine and others. I also know I do my absolute best.

From what I have observed, I believe you are a great mom @Katrina71 just as I believe @dantimdad , @NY_Caveman , @sfin52 and @Why-Me are great dads!
Well said!

This thing is looking much better after its dip. It seems to be a bacterial infection since no critters came off. Do you all think i should dip it again every few days untill the flesh is completely covering the exposed parts?

Look up how to do an iodine dip. It really helps LPS and zoas with bacteria.

Well good morning everyone! It's time to take the truck in and get a MASSIVELY overdue oil change :p

Well the news is in, looks like my turbo might be gone in the truck... AGAIN! ;Rage;Rage;Rage;Rage If you get a Ford truck, spare yourself the trouble and stick with the 5.0L

3.5 EcoBoost twin turbo v6? Turbo vehicles really like oil changes ON TIME... The turbos really cook the oil because they get so hot, this breaks down the oil and allows varnish to build up if not changed. The first place that varnish starts to show up is in the turbo bearings, which usually wrecks them. Hate your turbo is dead tho... those things aren't really cheap.

I own a 2004 F250 Powerstroke 6.0L. Yes, the truck that everyone says it horrible and blows up all the time. Take care of it and it'll last. I just clicked over 196k on mine.(Its never blown up)

I agree with you tho, 5.0 yote is where it's at in the new F150s. I'll never substitute a V8 for a V6, I dont care if they put 20 turbos on it.

Never even out of the box. ;)
That was with the ones you got for free? Can't beat the price. I don't know much that light, but it might just work well. Nothing wrong with the double ended bulbs. I have just always used the mogul base bulbs.

Gone 145,000km with spot on/early oil changes the first one definitely wasn't from lack of oil changes, and this second one I was about 1000km over due. I should have read the warranty before buying the truck, the entire engine and power train has 150,000km warranty, the turbo, 75,000Km. That's a warning in and of itself.

And no they aren't cheap at $2800 CDN installed. You burn up one and the cost of it completely erases any money you might have saved on fuel.
