This is just an innocent question. Do captive bred tangs require the same tank size as wild caught?
Generally speaking yes however if you get a small captive bred tang it would do fine in your new tank for a few years IMO. You would just need to be prepared to rehome when that becomes necessary. Some folks are able to let them go while others are not. I understand both sides of the equation and personally Im able to move on and try something new. Ideally I rehome to another reefer I know will care for them as I have. JMO

We will need a reef themed retirement facility.
Thats a nice way of saying we'll all be "Dust on the Reef" All we are is Dust in the Reef yada yad yeah.... Yes Im singing :)

Count me among the weird. :)

I have struggled with hearing loss the last couple of years. I was told I probably have Meniere's Disease, which is a condition involving the inner ear. It creates fluctuating hearing loss (thankfully only in my left ear for now), Tinnitus, pressure in the ear and vertigo (which I thankfully only have on rare occasions). I only have 30% word recognition in my left ear, so it is practically useless. Music sounds weird now. Some days are better than others. I wear hearing aids and that does help a little with the higher frequencies. I am old, so I assume things will start to fall apart anyway. :)

I would always tell my mom that my fathers hearing was fine that he didn’t want to Listen to her. The day she made him go and get checked my dad told the Dr. to tell my mom his hearing was fine
